Most safety barriers systems mounted in soil are installed by means of a very powerful hydraulic hammer ramming temporary protective pipes into the ground.
The post is placed into the pipe, the pipe is extracted and the post remains in the ground. In Sweden it is not allowed to hemmer directly on the post top to ram it into the ground.
